Winter 2012: Are You Ready to Change the World?
Dear Friends,
The world is changing. There is evidence of this all around, and I don't mean this in the routine way of "Hey, look, people are getting older and fatter," but in the way of revolutionary and ecological change. Sitting in California, we've had so little rain and so much warmth that already in mid-February the trees are blossoming and Nature are induced an early spring. Similar ecological changes have made themselves apparent around the world with unusual seasonal shifts occurring. This is one of layer of the change. The other is what seems to be living inside each of us.
As I posted all of the upcoming Youth Section-affiliated events on our website this morning, I found myself chuckling at the emerging theme: all of the events are about doing the inner work to create extraordinary outer change in the world. Over an dover again, I found myself typing "Change the world, change the world, change the world."
So, my dear friends, it's simple: change the world. Join your fellow idealists, the movers and the shakers of the 21st Century, and make something happen.
There is ample opportunity, you just have to get up and go.
Warmly,
Leslie
