What is Initiative?
There is an incredible surge of anthroposophically-inspired/motivated work that is being carried or co-carried around the world. We call this initiative work. Click below to find out the diversity of this work and to connect with an area that speaks to you.

Youth-inspired or Involved Initiatives
- Occupy the Future (www.occupythefuture.org): We are a group of engaged individuals and global citizens who have witnessed the movement growing around Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together and recognize its potential as a catalyst for real and lasting societal change. We have spent time at Occupy Wall Street, witnessed first hand the activity, non-violent community, and momentum that are growing there and have felt inspired to reflect and contribute to the growth of this movement and larger societal transformation by actively working with the following question: What is the FUTURE you want to OCCUPY? This question is of extreme importance in our time and one that we hope all people will ask of themselves, their communities and society as a whole. It points towards an essential task that we see for Humanity to collectively re-envision what picture of the FUTURE we want to live into.
- WeStrive.org (www.westrive.org): WeStrive works to lead the world toward stronger, healthier and more sustainable community as well as more effective social action by supporting socially and spiritually striving individuals, initiatives and organizations with a platform for social networking, economic association, educational opportunities and connection to all who endeavor together in co-creating a better world.
- Heartbeet
- Think OutWord (www.thinkoutword.org):
- Credere Fund
- Impulse Festival (www.impulsefest.com): Impulse Festival will be a four day celebration of the individuals together in community and an exploration of the great potential of both. The long weekend will be filled with workshops, lively discussions, games and fun! The festival will take place at Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks, California.
- Impulse Festival is about building community and becoming the seeds for social change. It is about connecting with our true purpose and re-imagining community in excited new ways!
- New Forms Project (www.newformsproject.org): The new forms project educates, collaborates and participates in the creation of sacred, aesthetic technology.
- We seek to identify emerging cultural forms and aid in the transformation of passive consumption to active participation.
